ok so i am going out with my best friend, but i need a way to break up with him, but i still want him to be my best friend? how can i break it to him i would rather be best friends?How to break up with a boyfriend that is ur best friend?
Be Honest but give him some time afterwards. You can't just expect everything to be fine after.; because it obviously isn't for him. If you guys are the best friends you once were he should be able forgive you (hopefully) But from a recent experience I needed to give the boy some time to get over me. Eventually the tension will die down and things will be forgotten and the friendship will be renewed. tht happened to my friends they were so close... went out.. broke up...didnt talk for MONTHS... and now they are slowly talking to each other again.

when you breake it off with him, dont expect you guys will be friends straight away it might take time for him because hes getting his heart broken. be honest with him.
Make that clear to him.Just tell him how you feel about the relationship, but how you value his friendship(and that you arent just saying that to be nice).Make that clear.
If he was ur ';best friend'; u wouldn't. U would marry him if he was ur ';best friend,'; he obviously doesn't mean much to u anymore so just break up w/ him so he can go find someone good!
